Robin Williams

​​Co-Writer/Co-Director/Editor

After dropping out of university, fueled by an unnatural obsession with Kevin Smith, Robin went on to win the Best Short Film award at the 2012 Vaughan Film Festival for his film Dimension Intervention.

Robin has written, directed, produced and edited over thirty short films and was the co-host of a short-lived podcast, Wadcast.

Bronwyn Caudle

​​Actor/Co-Writer/Co-Director

Michael Was Here is Bronwyn Caudle’s screenwriting debut. Previous writing experience includes Seasons of My Life(2008), Eulogy (2009), I Do, You Don’t (2010), and The Play About The Other Play, in collaboration with York University's acting conservatory. Bronwyn is very excited to be taking on multiple creative roles in this project.

Madeleine Laforest

​​Producer

A recent graduate from the University of Guelph-Humber Media Studies program with an emphasis in Digital Communications and a focus in videography. She most recently worked as a freelance videographer during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. Michael Was Here is Madeleine Laforest’s debut as a producer.

 

Kari-Lyn Gravel

​​Production Manager

A passion for storytelling and a love for organization are what led Kari-Lyn to pursue a future in filmmaking.  She has co-produced a number of short films and the documentary KERRY, an official selection at the 2013 Portland Film Festival. Most recently, Kari-Lyn has tried her hand at directing, including a short film and a commercial. 

Andrew Ahmed​​

Cinematographer

Andrew is an actor, filmmaker, and photographer. Some of his recent filmmaking projects include a National TV PSA for MADD, music videos for Carmen Corcoz and The Nighttime Parade, a web series – Charles Goes on a Date, several short films, and wedding films. Andrew Fantasia
Assistant Director

Andrew Fantasia is a writer & actor who loves nothing more than to bring compelling stories to life. He is a graduate with honours of Humber College's Acting for Film & TV program. Andrew hopes to leave his mark on the world by helping to craft unique entertainment experiences in the mediums of film, literature, television, video gaming. He is 26 years old.

 

William Caswell

Sound Designer

A final year Student at Humber College’s Film and Television program, majoring in sound recording, designing and mixing. One of William’s most recent works “Kerry” screened at the 2013 Portland Film Festival. William has worked on sound for a handful of short films in the last year, including “21st Century Love”, “Bystanders”, “My Place”, “Neighbour”, and “Grounded for Life”.

Sean Pegoraro
Behind the Scenes

University of Guelph-Humber Media Studies graduate with a lifelong passion for film. Sean is currently pursuing a career in video production and videography. He is excited to join the crew of Michael Was Here, capturing all of the action behind the scenes. You can find his video updates on the film website and Indiegogo forum.
